More and more, I am introduced to successful people that see their job as a BORING experience.

As you know, I talk often with MBA students/graduates about their career progression. Many of these individuals are doing well within their respective companies. They have earned new roles, accommodations, and promotions.
But only in a few of these individuals do I hear true enjoyment about the work they do. The people I speak of are talented, so it is no surprise that they do well professionally. But what if these people were inspired by the work they do?
It got me to thinking…MBAs are a talented group, but we can be just as BORING. For many of us, we can just “go through the motions” and get promoted. But is that enough? How much more insightful would you be if you were truly excited? How many more units would you sell? How many customers could you acquire?
